okay I am sure this has been asked before, but I was wondering what do you guys know about ovulation after a miscarraige I had a missed miscarraige in which required a D&C. it was done on march 10th I finally stopped bleeding two days ago. The Doc said we don't have to wait to concieve I have had the mindset if it happens it happens just curious if or when I should ovulate? thanks in advance.

I ovulated exactly one week after my spotting stopped. I used OPK. We didn't get pregnant that cycle tho

my first one I cycled normally after a very early loss.

my second one, I oed about a week after my hcg was less than 10.
(that was less than cd 20 can't remember the exact day)

and this one I don't know yet.

Since you had a D&C, chances are you will ovulate within a week or so!

Hi there.. I'm sorry for your loss. Everyone's body is different... for me, I had a D&C at 12 weeks and it took 5 weeks for me to ovulate. But it did happen! We were TTA at the time.

I am sorry for your loss.

If this helps you at all I had a D&C on January 28th and got pregnant before AF ever showed up.

I am due Nov 8, 2009, which means we conceived in Feb 15, 2009, so I guess I O'd about 2 weeks after the D&C.

So far it's been a good pregnancy, morning sickness and we saw and heard the baby's heartbeat earlier this week.
I hope you get your BFP soon!

Sorry for your loss.

I am not trying to scare you, just share the other possibility since everyone else had good luck. I had a d&c Jan 15, so 10 weeks ago and I still haven't o'ed (haven't had af, plus I am charting). I am currently on day 4 of provera to make me start my period, but I have never been very regular either.

i took a cycle off after my d&c, so i didn't pay attention to Oing. sorry!!! i think everyone is different, so you just have to see what your body will do. G/L

and i too, am so sorry for your loss. i have had two in a row, with a total of three! HUGS

I M/C on February 10th at 15 weeks, I know that I O'd on 25th Feb, as I took the ovulation strips.. I acutally had AF on march 12th, and I just O'd again on 23rd... so yes, you do ovulate before you get your AF, or at least I did.. were hoping this time we get a sticky!!! good luck, and I am so very sorry for your loss... oxoxoxoxxo
