For the next two cycles, I want to start using OPK's to practice figuring out when I O each month. I'm also going to monitor my CM, but I won't be temping or charting.
Should I start using OPK's as soon as AF ends? If not, how many days should I wait?
Does anyone else use OPK's, but not temp or chart?
Thank you

When you should start using OPK's depends on how long your cycles typically last. If you are completely unsure, you are probably safest to start using at CD9 so you dont miss O. Since my cycles are typically 30+ days I start around CD12. HTH

Jessica -
Lissa - This will be the first time I've ever tracked my cycles, so I'll start on CD 9. Thanks!
I forgot to add - what brand of OPK's do you all use?

I have 29 day cycles and I usually start to use the OPKs around CD11 or 12. I prefer the digital ones 'cause they are easier to read, but are more expensive. If you have long cycles you might want to buy some IC's instead.

Kimberly - What brand of digital ones do you use? Also, do you know of a Canadian company who sells IC's?

I've always either gotten them from Early Pregnancy Tests and Ovulation Predictor Kits for Home Use or else I get the Answer brand strips (20 in a pack) from WalMart or ebay. They are about $17.00 for the box of 20.

Thank you, ladies! I still wish I could find a Canadian company to order from, but I would rather go through a US company that is used by people I know then try a Canadian company that I'm unsure of...

I buy my hpt tests from saveontests, but they sell opk's as well. They are a Canadian company. If I don't get my bfp this month (which I very much doubt that I will) then I am going to order some ovulations strips.

I use IC's from early-pregnancy-tests.com. They work pretty well. My ovulation is all over the place (when I actually do O), so I wait until my cm starts changing and then use them.
