Does anyone else here relate to having to deal with a crazy ex of your loved one?? I dont mean to bring drama into the group, lol!! But this woman is nuts.. I wont even tell you the unimaginable things she said when we lost the baby, I honestly cant believe as a mother herself she could say such words.. I told my 5 yr old that when the Dr. looked in mommies tummy he didnt see a baby, and we had made a mistake, mommies tummy was full of food!! ( recently his hamster died at kindergarten and he has been scared of death) so I didnt want him to know the baby had died, I think it would have been too much. We also told DH children the same, just to save emotional distress, and they were completely okay with this.. no questions asked... NOW. his ex is telling his children that I am a liar and that the baby died, of course our children play together and I am terrified that they will tell my son the truth and it will hurt him so much.. It just goes on and on, I dont want to bother any one with my problems but if you are dealing with a situation like this, private e mail me so I can get advice.. I dont know how to deal with this woman. She has threatend to file a restraining order on me if I show up at his sons soccer game.. it would be a false report but she is capable of lying and making stuff up.. I am soooo frustrated, and I am sorry I know this is bringing drama in here.. just tell me not to bring it up again and I wont.. figured this is a good support system, any advice??

Oh girl, I know EXACTLY how this is. My DH's ex defines the word crazy, she is an attention ***** to the extreme!!! I could go on for days about the stuff she has done. When we lost Zachary we made sure that we didn't tell ANYONE any details (not even DH's family because they still talk to her). We told the kids (DSD and DSS are 9 and 13) what we wanted them to know and told them if they have any questions they needed to ask us. We also made it clear to them that WE were the only ones who had any answers because only WE knew what happened. It has worked out so far, DSD even asked me a few questions about Zachary the other day. It was very sweet and she was just curious about how big he was and she wanted to see his footprints again. We are very open about everything and let them ask whatever they want to know.

We still haven't told anyone about this pregnancy, mostly because we don't want the kids to find out yet. We want to wait until we are past the point where we lost Zachary because I know my DSD will worry (that's just her nature) and I won't be able to hide it physically past that point. Unfortunately this means that we can't tell ANYONE in DH's family because the first thing they will do is call his ex and tell her. It is a crazy situation and I don't interact with his family at all because of all of the crap they have done. They love, love, love gossip and I refuse to be a part of any of it. DH's parents have only seen my DD 2x's and my DS 1x- and yes they do live here in town. They also told everyone that I "tricked" DH into getting me pregnant with DD- HMMM, 6 months of TTC can get a person pregnant at times. And they said that I "tricked" DH into marrying me- not sure how that could happen to a grown man, but OK. DH thinks it is funny, but it really makes me mad sometimes.

LOL, I know this is long, but it really can become a hot button issue for me VERY quickly!!!

P.S. Did I mention that DH's Mom thinks that his ex has a "right to know" everything that goes on in our house!?! Uhhh, NO I DON'T THINK SO. So now MIL doesn't know ANYTHING that we don't 'plant' in her head!!!

Oh wow girl.... honestly... She's a nutjob!

You need to sit down and be adults with this woman, if she wants a restraining order against you, she'll need to prove why she needs it..if there's no serious reason for the RO, she won't get it. You aren't endangering her life, nor are you threatening her. It's okay though, let her go and do it, so the police and everyone else will see how crazy she is!!!

Heather - You need to write your MIL a 'f you' card!
