I am using the Answer Ovulation strips.. only problem is I am getting a possitive result for like 4 days.. do I go from day 1 or what??? This is my first time using the test strips and I had AF on the 12 March.. then 11 days later it showed up possitive for O.. but it did the same for the next three days, then today it stopped and went to blank... so when is the most fertile time, in the beginning, middle or end.... We have been doing the BD as much as possible without being hospitalized, lol!!! Do yo think the fertility monitors are better??? I am so confused????????????? GGGRrRRRRRRRR. Also just today, I am getting very sore breasts, and feeling a littel nauseated.. I know its too soon to show symptoms but I cant help but feel its a good thing?? maybe?? dont want to get my hopes up!!!!!

I personally don't use OPKs for this exact reason, I'd be too confused!!! A fertility monitor will show you a happy face for O time and something else for not O-ing.

Good luck!!!

I prefer the digital OPK's - they give you a happy face to show a positive - they're so much easier to read. I'm also on my 2nd cycle of using a fertility monitor. It will give you a low, high or peak reading. Also easier to read than the Answer OPKs. Looking back, I wish that I had purchased an ovacue monitor 10 cycles ago! I would have saved a ton on OPKs.

If you start BD'ing when you get your first + OPK and keep BD'ing until you see a clear thermal shift in your temps (are you temping too) - you'll be fine. I also stop using OPKs after I get a clear +.

I've never used a fertility monitor. I love the Clearblue digital OPK's b/c you get a smiley face when you're Oing and an empty circle when your not. But they are expensive. I recently found out that my health savings account will cover the purchase of a fertility monitor so I'm thinking of buying one of those instead.

Holy cow, I just checked and it's like $230 here in Canada. Wow. I think I'll stick with the OPK for now.

I have always used the cheapie internet OPK's and they have worked for me! I have never used the digi's so I don't really have an opinion in them.

answer brand can do that. i stopped using them. they are too sensitive for some ladies. i would get positives and i would cross check them with clearblue easy opks and the CBE ones would be neg while the answers were pos. they when the CBE became positive i knew i was really Oing. like i said, i stopped using them. i now purchase cbe from ebay.
