Ok, call me crazy, but I have been wanting and thinking of doing this for a while, today I purchased a fertility doll, here is the link to the one that I bought
NOVICA - Wood statuette, 'Atsinkwe'

Its supposidly to bring luck in trying to conceive and heck, we can all use a little luck. This one is made in africa.. I will let you know when I receive it if it has any affect on my situation... I know I am crazy!! lol

Does anyone else have a fertility statue???

I don't think it is crazy at all... After my m/c one of the nurses I work with asked if I was catholic.. I said no.. and she well it didn't matter a jewish friend of hers had gotten pregnant.. WIth this and she is supposed to bring in some kind of prayer card for me. So I don't think it is crazy.. It is just another tool you have in aiding you in TTC!

I think it is awesome. There are many tools in ttc. Some are common and some are not. I think that this is wonderful. I feel that natural and spiritual ways have more meaning. We should exhaust them before turning to medical ways. I do not mean to upset anyone. I would, financially able, try anything at this point. Let us know what happens...

I will certainly keep you updated... the little doll should be in the mail within 2 weeks, and if I am fortunate to conceive, then I want to keep it close to keep the little bean healthy. I am very spiritual, I have faith in those things. I also say my prayers every night.. I just think by getting this doll, it will give me hope!!!

It certainly won't hurt! My parents bought us an oil lamp in Thailand about 10 years ago, which my brother later revealed was a fertility lamp (not too subtle mom). Hmm, maybe we should move it to the bedroom.

Actually my BIL has used positive intention strategy. It really has worked for him. He has written his intention (basically that he is going to have children) down on a piece of paper and keeps it somewhere visible, so that every day he is reminded of his intention. He & his wife have been trying for 10 years and finally had twins through IVF last year. Good luck, I hope it works for you!
