spotting - sorry TMI

Yesterday morning I went to the bathroom and noticed that I was spotting a bit, just some brownish discharge on the pantyliner. and that was it for the day. this morning same thing. just the same brownish discharge on the pantyliner and since then nothing, not even when I wipe. Sorry if this is TMI. I've also started cramping a bit. So my thoughts are that AF is on the way?? Or could this be Implantation bleeding or spotting. I POAS yesterday and it was a BFN. I was strong enough not to do it this morning. How soon after implantation would a BFP show up? For those who have had implantation bleeding (I've never had it before), what did it look like? was is bright red or brown? I'm just overanalyzing everything now.

They say you can get a BFP 48 hours after implantation, but of course that will very between women. Hope it's not AF!!!

I'm not so sure about what color the implantation bleeding would be, but I don't see why it can't be brown. I'm obviously assuming you O'd already. Has been at least a week since then? It could then definitely be implantation bleeding. Also it might be a few days or more before a +HPT. I don't know.... I'm staying hopeful for you!! KUP!!

I had it, I got it about 11 DPO, it was light reddish streaks through the cm, a very small amount. I am very surprised when I read about people mistaking IB for a period, but I guess it's different for everyone.

I agree 48 hours after should produce enough HCG to pick up on a pg test.

thanks Ladies. If I O'd, it would have been around the 19th. that's the only few days that I had any kind of CM. I'm going to test again tomorrow and see. I'm going to test until AF shows up....JK. I'm not getting my hopes up though.
