Af showed My cycle seems to be on track. Counting the day I miscarried as cd 1 puts that cycle at 35 days which isn't even my longest cycle. (It's my second longest with my longest being 37 days)

This will be my first time ever using ovulation tests and I don't really know for sure when to start them. My average cycle length is 31 days and the instructions say that for 31 days start testing on day 14. Is that right or should I start on a different day since I don't have dead on cycles? Chances are if I actually do ovulate this month we won't miss the chance because we have a schedule of bd, never going longer than 3 days without, sorry if thats tmi. It would be nice to know if I ovulate though. Any info/advice is appreciated!

I think thy say if you have different cycle lengths to start taking the OPK on cycle day 10. I could be wrong but I think that's what I remember. So to be sure I would start around then.

Yea for AF!! I also started using opk's a few days after AF stopped- usually around day 5 or 6. If you don't trust the answer brand tests completely (cheapest store bought ones because they come in a pack of 20) I would use them or internet tests up till it starts showing something then switch to a more reliable test.

Did that even make sense?

Glad AF came on time! I would start the OPK on day 10 just in case you O early. You never know, you might have a short cycle this time. Good luck and hope this is your month!!!

Thanks for all the replies. I wouldn't have a problem figuring out when to start testing except for the fact that I only have 6 tests (I had 7 but I took one when I got them because I didn't know af was coming). The only opks I can get here are clear blue answer ($36 for 7), clear blue digital ($38 for 7) and the first response ones ($40). I don't like ordering off the internet because when packages get delivered they get left at the front door without them so much as ringing the doorbell and the packages end up getting stolen.
My shortest cycle that I have recorded is 25 days so I guess I'll start testing at 10 days just in case..
