Hi ladies,

So I'm a little new to this. We're not actively trying this cycle, however we did BD around the time I would guess I would be ovulating. I know that when you are o-ing your cm is supposed to get clear and "stretchy" but I was just wondering how you would now when this is happening. Do you actually have to "check" or would you notice when you went to the bathroom and wiped? I might be what you call...a little clueless about this!

You would know when you go to the bathroom. It kind of looks like snot and there would be quite a lot of it on the tp or in the toilet, especially if you have a bm (sorry if TMI). But you certainly can check.

I notice that when I have fertile CM, I seem more wet down there, so that's the first clue. Also, if I need to use the bathroom, I check before going. I think that you could miss it on TP.

Good luck!

You can see it on the TP, but it's easier to check before wiping.

I'm new here- but can tell you its easier to ck yourself. You can see it on TP but to be sure, I would say check it. Sometimes you'll get eggwhite like cm and other times its very watery... i've always been able to tell when I "o" but I also ck to make sure. Hope its good news for you very soon!!!

I for one never ever ever got EWCM externally or on my TP.... I always had to search for it up near my cervix (TMI, I know... but it's the truth!) So don't be concerned if you don't find it easily. As long as you have some where it needs to be, it'll do the job! Because it was always hard for me to find it, I usually relied on my breasts as an indicator that I was ovulating, looked for the EWCM a few times a day till I found it, and then used my BBT to confirm I had ovulated after.
