Does anyone know how long we should wait before dtd after a d&c?? I know that sounds crazy but this mc has made my dh and I so close..... I just want that time with him....

I'm so sorry for your loss. With my first m/c I had to wait until I went back for my 2 week appt and got the okay. I think she basically wanted to make sure that all the bleeding had stopped and there wouldn't be any chance of infection.

I think we waited 7 days. I am sorry about your loss. Our ttc group *you, amy, and me* all got preggers and had a loss. I think as soon as you are ready it is safe but you may wanna wait for someone else to reply. I am not an expert.

I had a D&E and was told to wait 2 weeks because of infection. We waited. I felt very very close to my DH during that time as well but I didn't want to risk getting sick.

I'm sorry for your loss. We waited until the bleeding stopped. The doctors say to wait about 2 weeks, just to make sure the cervix is closed and there is no bleeding, so you don't get an infection. But as long as you feel okay, you should be ready.

I didn't have a D&C so I was told to wait until I was ready.

I was told to wait until the bleeding had stopped. That was about 6 days.

I am so sorry for your loss, I think you and your body will know the right time, I would definitely say after bleeding has stopped, some girls get preggers right away, good luck!!!!
