Ugh...I think I'm all messed up after my m/c 2-14-09. I had what I thought was my first AF 3-21 which lasted 3-4 days. I started OPK's right away. I got a positive on CD7 So we BD'd and crossed our fingers. Today is CD19/12DPO and it seems like AF has started again. It started with light spotting which I thought might have been implantation. But no AF is full force today. I took a HPT and it was negative. So now I'm wondering what to expect this time?? Any idea? Anyone have a similar story??

I'm sorry Chrissy AF showed!!! I wish I could tell you what to expect, but you're not the only one who's got a messed up cycle. I just want to rip my hair out. My m/c was on March 3 and I got AF exactly 4 weeks later, so March 31 was CD1. This AF is driving me bananas. first it started out light, then got heavy (to be expected). on day 5 & 6 it disappeared, started in full swing again CD 7 & CD 8. this morning on CD 9 I woke up to nothing...thinking great, it's finally over....not....it started up again! WTH. Can someone please explain why it keeps stopping and starting again? Hopefully yours doesn't last as long as mine and your cycle will be back to normal.

I'm sorry I can't help either. This is only my first cycle after my m/c.... I had no bleeding after my m/c and it too af 35 days to show... now.... I am in the 2ww.. and I have no idea when she will show!

I was just about to post a topic about this... I got my first af after my miscarriage on the 1st. Usually I have it for 5 days and a bit of spotting but this time is weird. It started out heavy like normal but instead of being heavy for only 2 days it was 3 then medium for 3 then spotting and now it's up to light. Really annoying.

I don't remember what AF was like right after the d&c but I remember lots of ladies saying similar things that it would alternate between heavy and light and last longer. I hope it gets on track soon for all of you!

I had a natural mc Oct 25th of 08. Since then, af with spotting and everything has been lasting almost 10 days per cycle!!! Also, my cycles have been 30 to 36 days! Before, they were exactly 28 day cycles with 4-5 day afs. I hope it gets better soon. I feel your pain.

I worry that it will take a long time to get my cycles back to normal. All I want is to get pregnant again & soon! I'm 35 and menopause sets in early in my family

your cycles after m/c or D&C can take awhile to return to normal. just make sure you're charting and checking for O. that's really all you can do. My acupuncturist also recommended an herbal, non-caffinated tea that is supposed to regulate hormones. i hate tea, but i'm choking it down and it seems to be helping me. I got AF pretty much on schedule and she was a day longer than usual. i'm now waiting to O and hoping it will be on schedule. G/L ladies, hang in there, it's all so stressful, which throws our cycles off even more!! HUGS
