Hello all~ I am very new to this but I want to ask a question.
I have been TTC for 4 months now. I was pregnant last year and delivered my precious baby boy at only 26 weeks. The cord had wrapped around his neck 4 times and he died in utero. My cycles are very consistent (28 days) and I have been wearing the OV watch and using the ovulation strips to track OV days. The first day of my last period was March 15 and I ovulated on the 27. My husband and I did the "baby dance" March 25, 27,28,30 and the April 3. I noticed very scant amounts of tinged (brown) blood starting on the 2nd of April and the 3rd. Then on the 6th of April (10 DPO) I had dark brown spotting. There was not enough to wear a pad. Then that stopped until today when I am noticing more brown discharge-like blood when I wipe. I tested this morning and it was negative and I am just wondering if this is implantation bleeding is it common for it to start and stop like that? Or because I am so focused on becoming pregnant...is my body playing tricks on me?

Any advice, previous experiences or stories would help. Thanks...Liza

That definitely sounds like it could be IB but I don't want to get your hopes up b/c I'm really not sure, I've never had it myself. I would get some dollar store home pregnancy tests and use them Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed b/c it would be too early to get a bfp now. I hope you get a bfp very soon.

Also, I am very sorry for your loss, I am glad you found this board.

Thank you Eribabe!

I guess I am just anxious...and maybe just a victim of the pee on a stick too early syndrome

Hi Liza!

Sorry for your loss... and I'm not an expert on IB, but when I was pregnant a few months ago the only bleeding I had was a verrrrry small amount of pinkish discharge when I wiped once, and that's it. I thought nothing of it at the time, but looking back that could have been IB for me. Everyones different though and I agree with Erika...keep on testing! Good luck!!

It sounds more like a little early spotting before Af to me. IB usually only lasts only 3 days and is very light. With my last pregnancy I had it 11 dpo, and it was only once and reddish pink. However, anything is possible as every pregnancy is different. Good Luck getting that BFP.

I am not sure, but if you are pg, they say that brown blood is nothing to worry about. Please keep us posted. I hope this is it for you. Everything crossed for you. You have found a wonderful board and support system.

I will certainly keep you posted. This morning there was a bit more brown/red tinged blood but only when I wiped. I have been wearing a pad for the past few days only because I "feel" like I am going to start. I have not needed it. I have a feeling that Dinah is right and this is just early spotting before AF but it is just so hard not to get your hopes up. Like I had said earlier I am very regular and should "officially" start on Sunday so we will see what happens. If I am not pregnant I have been contemplating tracking BBT...anyone know of a good website that could get me started with the basics?

Fertility Friend has a BBT "training course" that you can take for free. Good luck, although I hope you won't need it!

Just thought I would post an update...
AF arrived last night and is in full visit mode today! *sigh* I was trying not to be so hopeful but it still hurts when you realize that it's not this month. Also, it just seems unfair that your body..in reaction to the stress and nerves could mimic early pregnancy/ implantation bleeding instead of just getting AF over with! Well, on with the next cycle!

Thanks for all your posts, advice and input - I really appreciated it!
