Just checking in with you ladies. This has been a hard day today as I have reached the 8week milestone in my pregnancy, which is the time when I miscarried my last pregnancy. Also, it has been only 8 weeks since that miscarriage. That seems like too many eights to me. Lately, along with my anxiety, I have been feeling angry as I should be 16 weeks pregnant and not just 8 weeks. I felt some relief after my ultrasound 2 weeks ago, but today has been horrible for me. I have even started carrying around pads and advil expecting to miscarry at any moment. I wish I could fast forward the next few weeks.

Oh I am so sorry you are going through this. I know that fear well. I even look at things to buy and think that's what I will buy to cheer myself up when I miscarry. Its almost like we expect it to happen and the pregnancy loses its innocence.

I hope the next week flies by for you and you start to feel less worry.

It looks like I O'd 16 days after my miscarriage, which was about 4 days after my bleeding/spotting stopped. I never dreamed I would get pregnant that fast, as I was still getting faint positives on my HPT a day before I did the BD. My due date is almost exactly 8 weeks from my miscarried baby's due date. The human body is very mysterious, and god truly operates in strange ways sometimes.

Sometimes we kill our selves with the should be's. And the what ifs. Try not to worry and enjoy this little soul you have growing inside, and everything that goes with it. I'm sorry you have to feel this way. But take the blessing you have and Don't let this pregnancy be overshadowed by the one you lost....

And when I get my BFP... You might have to feed me my own advice...

I know it is hard to let your guard down, and enjoy your pregnancy when you have experienced a loss. Try to enjoy every moment, and like you said God works in mysterious ways and he gave you this blessing so enjoy it!
I hope the week flies by for you so you can rest easy.

I went through the same thing... I hit 6 weeks and I started worrying that it would all happen again. Now, in my 2nd trimester, I still worry every day. It's true, the innocence of pregnancy is gone after a loss. But, every day you are still PG is one day closer to holding your little one. Take care of yourself, and, try to set small goals for yourself. Next week, next appointment, next u/s...whatever it takes to make 40 wks seem less like an eternity Allow yourself to start celebrating the little life that's growing inside of you. Good luck and KUP!
