I officially have started my first AF since my d&c. I was 9w2d along and the baby passed at 8wks. We saw a strong h/b at 6w4d and everything looked perfect, but when I went in for my follow up scan, the baby had passed. I got the news on 4/1, what a joke, not funny at all, and had my surgery on 4/2. I never spotted or blead this week, and woke up this morning to a bright red flow, bloating and nautious. I have had d&c's in the past, and usually start my cycle in 2wks, so with this being only 1wk, Im quite surprised. So even though its really early, Im taking this as a good sign that my hcg has dropped quickly and my body is preparing for cd 1. I will not be ttc until next cycle though, as I know this one is not normal. Just happy that it here and hopefully I will get my next one in 28days like usual. All though, Im prepared if I dont. Nice to be here with you all, and Im sorry for everyones losses here, not fair at all.

I'm so sorry for your loss but glad to hear that your body seems to be back on track so quickly. I agree with you, it's just not fair. I hate very few things in the world, but miscarriage is right at the top of that short list! Good luck to you and hope your next cycle is normal and results in a sticky bfp!!!

I am very sorry for your loss. And you are right it just doesn't seem fair at all. I lost my baby at 26 weeks. It was our first pregnancy and we were devastated. We have been TTC for 4 months now with no luck but i am hopeful we will be blessed again soon. I hope that you do begin your "normal" cycle soon and can start TTC right away. I will be right there with you...along with all of the moms here. Good luck to you.

thank you everyone, what a wonderful welcome. I kind of hope that it takes a few months to conceive again. Usually I concieve right away, and I think maybe if it takes awhile this time, it will have a better chance of staying with me. I was pg in Jan, chemical, and then right away in Feb, ending in 9wk m/c. The secret to me getting pg so quickly, is bd'ing from the last day of AF until she is to show again! Every day, and twice a day during the fertile period. Thank God I love to bd so much!!
Heather, I hope were in the same DDC again too!! If I do get pg right away, I will only lurk for the first tri-mester though. Too hard to say goodbye to people whom have never experienced loss before. I hate scarring people. Takes their joy away and replaces it with fear. You know what I mean?
