Hi Ladies...Quick question. I just got my first period since my natural m/c on 3/2. AF was pretty normal in terms of flow but I have now had AF for 11 days!!! Has anyone experienced a really long period after m/c. I''m just wondering if this is normal. I know my Dr. said the flow might be heavier but he didn't mention it may be longer. It's not really blood it's more like brown discharge (sorry for TMI) but DH and I were looking forward to BD since we haven't since the m/c. I'm just frustrated I guess. I just want to be back to noramal already!!!

Thanks for letting me vent. You guys are awesome!!

I'm sorry I'm not much of a help. All my AF's after the m/c's were fairly normal.
Hope someone has some better insight.
But if you are going to use opk's this cycle I would go ahead and start them, it could just be old blood making it's way out.

Good luck!

My AFs were never very long, but I did have spotting lasting a few days longer than actual AF for the first couple of cycles post m/c. It didn't seem to affect my O day though.

HUGS Lizzy! Cycles after m/c are so messed up and frustrating. My AF after the d&c was a lot heavier and longer than normal cycles were....it didn't last 11 days (I want to say maybe 8 days? but my normal AF was 4-5 max) but if it's not heavy bleeding it's probably just old blood working it's way out. Hopefully it'll end soon and stop worrying you! HUGS

Lizzy my AF was exactly the same... I also just got my first after m/c and it lasted 9 days...crazy!!! And it would be heavy, then stop entirely, then pick up again, then it finally just spotted for a day. Now I think I'm starting to get some CM, but it is still brownish streaked. Don't know if I'm going to O this month or what. Hopefully your AF will be done any day now! HUGS! I feel your frustration.

Just taking a guess but if it's brown like others said, it's old blood making it's way out. So I would think that you would ovulate in the next couple days if you're already on CD11...just DTD in case!

I'm sorry about your loss and I hope you catch that eggie soon. Good luck!
