I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm too tired to go through all the posts.
I'm a bit frustrated right now. I'm on CD 12 today and have been testing with the OPK since CD 10. I remember before I had my BFP I had some pretty dark lines for a few days before I had the + on the OPK. This time around I've had a very faint line on CD 10 and then on CD11 & CD12 NOTHING!! not even a shadow of a line. WTH??? Shoudn't I have at least some kind of line. I thought the LH hormone is in your system all the time, just gets stronger when O approaches. I am testing around 2pm. Can any of you ladies giver me some insight? I'm just getting worried that I'm not going to O again this cycle. I'm giong to BD anyway, just to make sure.

I usually test once a day until I notice the line getting darker, then I test 2-3 times a day, because yes, the window can be only 12 hrs and you can miss it. It sounds like you may have Oed early on cd10. I hope you caught it!

I have heard an LH surge can last anywhere form 3 days to 3 hours. Also, it is possible your body could have been gearing up to ovulate and then if you become stressed it might have delayed. So I think you either missed your surge or maybe its still coming. I would be BDing the next few days just in case, and test a few more days with the OPK. Good Luck!

Can you O without CM??? I only just started to get some today. Plus I didn't have any O pain and I'm starting to feel a bit crampy on and off today. I'm really hoping that by Monday the line will get darker otherwise I'm just going to cry.

It's possible that maybe your urine was a little more concentrated for the slighting darker line and that you could be gearing up to O now instead. That would certainly help time the BDing better! Come on positive OPK!

I don't use opks, but I think that bding is the best idea. Since there is only a 12 hour window, better safe than sorry I hope you caught it either way. good luck and KUP
