Finally.....

Hi girls, I introduced myself in here about a month ago. I had a miscarriage in January and had to have a D&C. I FINALLY got AF on Easter Sunday. It was such a relief. I have been wondering where she was and if she was ever going to come back. Dr. says we have to wait until June to try again (actually he said 4 cycles). I'm hoping he doesn't make us wait longer because of how long it took AF to show! I was on clomid when we got preggo before so chances are we'll need it again.

Oh, Im so happy the witch showed finally! You must be so excited to get the show on the road! Hopefully you will get your BFP on the first try in June. Good luck to you!

Hi, did he say why you had to wait four cycles? I am awaiting my first af post curette (I was 8 wks 5 days so the same as you), but my ob told me that after my first af we could start trying again.

That's great that AF reared her ugly head. Funny how that's the only time we want her to show up..LOL. I was also wondering if there was a reason why you had to wait 4 cycles. I know that the drs want you usually to wait 1 or 2, to make sure you are healed emotionally and so they can date the pregnancy easier, but medically there usually isn't a reason why you can't try again after your first AF. Good luck and hopefully it won't be long before you get that BFP!

I'm not really sure the reason why we have to wait. I was actually wondering the same thing. I am ready to start now!! I was being seen by a high risk doctor too for my heart-shaped uterus. My gyn. said that if it were left up to my high risk doctor he'd make us wait 6 cycles. So we decided to go the 4 instead!

We had our loss end of Feb and had to prevent for one cycle but that was it......boo for waiting 4 cycles

Im glad that AF came and that part of the waiting is over!! Im sorry you have to wait so long to try again though! Do you have short regular cycles at least? Hope it goes fast for you!
