:Some of you may know that I didnt have an AF in March and I have been getting BFN's and I have been worried about it but now I am excited and I feel so much better. I went to see my DR today and I am not pregnant but he gave me some answers and It has made me feel so much better. He doesnt think I ovulated at all in March so he has put me on Provera to jump start my period. I have to take the Provera for the next ten days and then 5 days after I start my period he wants me to take clomid to make me ovulate. I have never taken clomid but I am excited because I have heard alot of women talk about getting pregnant while on clomid. I am also a little afraid at the same time because he said I would have a 15% chance of having twins but I dont think twins would be so bad. If GOD wants me to have twins I will have twins regardless of if I am no clomid or not. My dr also wants me to come back in 2 weeks so he can do a bloodtest on me to see how well I am ovulating. He said that it may take 6 months or longer but he believes I will get pregnant. I am so glad I went to the DR today and I am so glad to have some answers. At least I know now why AF didnt show. I want to say thanks to all of you for your advice and kind words and thanks for listening to me rant on with my silly worrying and such..... I dont know what I would do if I hadnt found you all. THis is such a wonderful place.

I'm happy you got answers and you're feeling better. It sounds like your Dr. knows what he/she is talking about and is getting you on track for a bfp. I hope it doesn't take six months, but God has a plan for everything. I'm glad you found this board, too!

I am so glad you got some answers. Not knowing is always so much worse than knowing what is wrong!!! At least you will feel like you are able to do something to help yourself get pregnant. KUP on your progress!!!

I am sooo glad you had such a great appointment. Getting some answers and taking some action seems like the best plan to get your BFP. And, personally, I think twins would be AWESOME! KUP as you go, I can't wait to hear how everything is going. Take care and know that you're in my thoughts! BFP wishes heading your way!!!!

Well ladies my excitement and relief is slowly turning into worry. I have read some posts on the TTC board and I have found out that there are some of the women there that are not getting BFP's until they are 22 days late 24 days late and 1 month and 1 week late for AF. That makes me worry because I am now 20 days late for AF. What if the DR was wrong and I am pregnant and This medicine he puts me on hurts my baby (if there is one)? I cant lose another baby, it is to hard. I read that Provera shouldnt be taken if pregnant, Breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant. Why would my Dr give me provera if it shouldnt be taken if you are planning to get pregnant because he knows I am TTC. I dont know what to think. I am going to go get another HPT and if it comes out BFN I will continue to take the provera. I guess I am just a paranoid person. When I lost my baby in December it was the first pregnancy loss that I have ever had and It is so hard, I dont think I can go through it again and now there is always that fear that I will. Does that fear of another miscarriage ever get better or go away?

HUGS! I think we will forever worry about anything happening to our children. I think I have heard that you are supposed to wait 3 months before ttc while taking Provera, but I could be wrong. Maybe you should ask your doctor again or get a second opinion. It does happen that tht HPT doesn't show up as + for some women until later, but I would think that a blood test would, considering how it pickes up a small trace of hcg. Good luck figuring everything out!

Normally I am one to always question the doctors, but in this case I am leaning towards trusting them. If they did a blood test, they should have been able to see any pregnancy hormone in your blood. Some women don’t transfer as much from their blood to their urine as others (late testers).
I’m so sorry that you are going through this, I hope it all resolves itself for you soon!

Well I am feeling better. I am not worried that I may be Preg any more. I bought some HPT's and took them and they were BFN so I feel better about that. I just hope I get AF soon so we can move on and TTC again. I am hopeing the Clomid helps. I have taken 3 doses of provera and I am due for another dose today but it is making me so sick that I dont know if I will be able to take it or not. I called the DR to ask him what he wants me to do as far as the provera making me so sick. I hope he can give me something else to make me get my AF if he tells me not to take the provera anymore. Maybe I will go to my Grannys and get her to make me some Ginger tea. She swears that nasty stuff will make me start my period and I am willing to try it right now. I tried it one other time when I came off of my DEPO Provera birth control shot years ago and I remember it being so nasty but a couple of days later I started my AF so I guess granny knows what she is talking about. I have noticed that almost all of my grannys old home remedies has worked. One of her home remedies I like the most is if you get a sprain just take a brown paper back and soak it in vinager (Yes it stinks but it works) and wrap the brown paper bag soaked in vinager around your sprain and it makes the sprain so much better. Anyway Thanks so much to all of you for the advise and support. I love it here.
