I really didn't want to think about it... I've tried very hard to forget. I'll never forget the baby I was supposed to have but I tried so hard to forget the experience. When I found out I was going to miscarry my doctor told me it would be like a heavy period... um, yeah... it was nothing like a heavy period. Anyway, I panicked and called an ambulance. I really thought it wasn't normal for a miscarriage because all they said was that it was going to be like a heavy period. I had nothing to compare it too because my last loss was completely different and I had a d&c. The source of my vent: I called the ambulance on feb 25 and today April 20th is when I get the bill. 2 months later. Why couldn't the bill have come at a time when I could sit and have a glass of wine? Why did it have to come now when I'm hoping to get a bfp in a week or 2 and am terrified of having another miscarriage? At least the bill is not as high as I thought it was going to be... thats a plus.

Nothing like getting a bill for something you want to forget, or better yet paying for something you really didn't want to happen
I hope to see you get a BFP in a few weeks!

It seems like the mail comes at the worst times!!! I have been getting gift sets full of cans of formula and tons of diaper coupons along with the notes that say congrats on your new arrival. UGH!! I tried to cancel all of that stuff!!! At least my kids are still in diapers so the coupons will get some use. I am planning to give the formula to a family at church so it will get used by someone who needs it. Sorry about the bill, at least you don't have to pay it until you find out if that glass of wine is okay. And maybe by then you will be so excited about the BFP that mailing the payment won't hurt as much.

Hopefully you'll get your BFP and you won't feel the sting of the bill.
BTW - I totally agree with you. Nobody told me that my m/c would be so painful. I had no idea what to expect!

Thanks ladies. I ended up eating a bunch of chocolate and cuddling with my ds on the couch for most of the day. He knows when I'm upset and always tries to make me feel better.

I am so sorry that you are going through this I know how hard it is to be reminded of a loss. When I get reminded of my m/c that I had back in december I want to just curl up in a ball an cry my eyes out.
I hope you do get your BFP soon.
