So this is my first cycle using OPK's and so (of course) I have a few questions. I used one today (CD10 at 5pm). Here is a pic of the test.



I know it is negative... but...I also had LOTS OF EWCM during this visit to the bathroom for the test. So my questions are when do I take the next OPK? How long between tests should I wait? And how long does it usually take for them to get positive? I was expecting it to take a few days to get positive but with the EWCM already here I am a bit confused.

I hope someone answers your question, I just took one too, last night and I was cd10 and had lots of EWCM. I took it at 10:30 pm. Mine is darker than yours, but the line is thin. I took one today and it was lighter than yesterday, took it at 7:30pm. I will probably take one at 11:30 again tonight and keep taking them once a day for the next week I guess. Im expecting to O in the next few days, I usually have EWCM for a least 3 days prior too. So Im confused with you!!

Mine were always darkest later in the evening (around 9-10pm) You should take another one every day until you start to see them get darker- then when you suspect it is almost + take them 2-3 times a day.

This is what I did and I never failed to catch the LH surge. Twice I would have completely missed it if I had waited 18-24 hrs between tests.
