TTC while sick??

Hey Ladies!!

So DH's sister came to visit us last week, only when she got here she was super sick. After a couple of days she seemed to get better and she left on Thursday but ever since she got here I have had a sore throat. I don't feel sick other than that, and I'm kind of hoping in allergies or something, but I dont know. Anyways, I'm supposed to O sometime in the next week and was wondering if theres any reason to worry about TTC if I am sick. I've tried looking it up and haven't really been able to find anything...so I thought I'd ask the experts!!

I have alway heard that the flu/ a cold isn't a reason not to TTC. I don't think there is any reason not to go for it. Especially if it is just a sore throat. If you don't O until later in the week hopefully you will be 100%. If you get worse or get a fever, I would call your DR. just to be sure.

You may not feel like bd'ing if you are sick and O may be delayed, but other than that you should be fine! Hopefully you'll feel better by then.

you gotta make sure your not taking meds though. if you're feeling ok to BD without medicating, then you're good to go. if you medicate for pain, use tylenol and NOT ibuprofphen. G/L

And just remember if you think it is Allergies... decongestent will cut down on your cm.. it will dry you up a little.. If you feel up to bd go for it!!!

thanks ladies! My throat doesn't hurt as much today and I feel fine...so who knows! I may still go to the doc tomorrow just to see whats up. I haven't been taking any medication (except generic claritin which I wont take anymore) so hopefully I"m not messing anything up!

This may seem extremely odd.................. (even to me too)

and a little wacko....

But my daughter has bad week teeth, and there is an orange spot on the front bottom adult tooth... and the dentist said it is caused by me being sick when she was inside me!!!!!!

I really dont know how, but he swears that is most likely the case

So at 6 years old...I see the spot coming in with her new tooth...... and I honestly cant remember is I was sick or not so long ago.

But.. All in all, I think she should be fine!!!!!!!
