I lost my precious baby at 11 wks. 6 days. on March 3, 2009.
I am going crazy waiting to start trying again. We were going to wait until June to start trying but I don't think I can wait that long. I am going off of my BC in a couple of weeks and we are going to leave it up to nature when we get pregnant. I really want another baby and I don't want to wait too long because I have a two year old son and we were always hoping to have our children at least 2 and a half years apart. There is no way for that to happen now but I don't think I want them to be more then 3 and a half years apart.
I am also nervous. What if it happens again? What happens then?
My Dr. told me to wait at least two cycles before trying again. I am going on three so I figure that's enough time.
I don't think I have ever wanted a baby so much before. I am so excited, yet scared.

I am so sorry to welcome you here.
I had a m/c at 11 weeks on March 18th. Our daughter is 2 1/2 and I think I was more sad for her than for me. My sister and I are 2 years apart and I had hoped for that for my daughter. Now we will be lucky to have them 3 1/2 years apart.
Good luck TTC. I hope to join the TTC ranks soon!

I am sorry for your loss. Was there a reason the doctor said wait 2 cycles? I am feeling the same way right now. What if I get pregnant again and we lose that one? What then? Can I really handle another loss?
You found a great place for support.

I had a D&C and so she just wanted me to let my body heal and also just for emotional reasons. I'm glad I didn't just jump right back in. I needed time to mourn and heal emotionally. I am ready now to start thinking about having another baby.

I understand about the healing side of it all. My midwives said I am physically ok, and I am still really sad but they feel it is ok for me to TTC again right away. Plus given my age I really don't have a lot of time left.
Whatever you decide we are here for you.
