Ok, so here are the pics of my opk's.. from day 1 of the first possitive I got, last Thursday.. I took 2 today, one this morning and one just now, 6.00pm.. the last one is wierd as the line is darker but not full??? any ideas on this... I have no idea what to think, I have looked on peeonastick.com and read about it being able to detect hcg? is that possibly why I am still getting strong results, I know its too early to test.. let me know what you think..

Yeah I'm confused. I've never heard of that many days of positives... I hope it's detecting hcg!

I am on cd 18... af was on 12th april.. just odd.. I think the last one is looking weaker, but still all look positive to me.. that would be great if it was picking up hcg.. very strange. I almost dont want to keep opk testing.. how many more days can it be positive??

It's only considered positive if it's as dark or darker than the control. Just showing color isn't a positive. I would say that 5 is getting close, 6 and 7AM are the ones I would actually call positive. I hope you got in lots of BDing! GL!

Have you taken a pg test? I would. My OPK's never got that dark except the one time I used one while I was pg to see what it would do. - But I used IC's.
Is this your first month using OPKs?

Then answer brand is so confusing to me. I thought i would get a positive then i would use the CBE digital opk and it would be negative. That happened 4 different times this cycle. I have no answers for you. You really do have to read it at the allotted time or you will get false results. Mine would get super dark later. Good luck! I hope you caught that egg!

I guess it's hard to judge the darkness from a pic with that REALLY dark line on the edge of the control line. Maybe it's throwing off my perspective. Either way, I still hope you got in lots of BDing! Hope you caught that eggie!

They do look all positive. Maybe try using a digital opk and see what it says.

Lurking...I always had horrible results with the answer strips. I always got positives even when i wasn't surging. I know some people have good results with them but I also have seen lots of people with multiple days of positives on that brand. I would switch to ICs or FRERs.

The control line is the lighter of the 2 lines, correct?

Karissa- i think you're looking at the control line not the test line b/c the test line is suuuper dark.
Did you take an hpt yet Nicky? I think you should. Maybe these are just a weird batch of tests? Or maybe you're ovulating extra, who knows?!?

okay, please please please don't be mad at me BUT the Answer Brand Opks SUCK!!!!! I had so many false positives on those things. I crossed checked them with CBE and First Response. I even cross checked them with Internet Cheepie opks and they simply stink!! When the Answer Brands would be positive for a week, the other brands would be negative. I would get my surge detected on all of them together, but then the others would be neg the next day and the Answers would still be positive for a WEEK. I would get a different brand and take one and see if it too is positive. I like the CBE two lines ones available on ebay or walmart. G/L

Thank you so much for all your help!!! my chart says I should have O' on the 22nd?? I got a possitive on the 23rd, strip1.. I remember on the 23 having significant cm I still think its too early for a pregnancy test.. I am going to try to hold out another week, then if not this month, next month I iwll get different strips!! sooo frustrating!! However there has been a lot of BDing.. If I ovulated on the 23rd the most I am is only 7 dpo.. still too early to test.. thats IF I o'd on the 23.. I could have o'd after that, all I know if I certainly had the right cm on the 23rd.. felt it and tested and it was right on... SOOOO when is a good time to test?? with those odd's ??? Keep in mind, may not have released the egg till the 24th or 25th??? HMMMM I just dont know!!
