Waiting a little longer...

Hi, ladies!

In case you didn't notice my new ticker, DB and I will probably be waiting to try until April, 2011. He's graduating in September, 2010 and that date will give him a month to find a job in his field and then 3 months for benefits to kick in. That way, I'll be able to be a SAHM for atleast a year and we won't have to worry about finances along the way.

I have no idea what might happen in the future, so our TTC date may become sooner. It definitely won't be before 2010 though, since we won't meet the requirements to buy a house until then. For now, however, I'm not getting my hopes up, but rather, settling in to wait for two more years. There is NO way that our TTC date will ever get any later then that, so counting down to it is comforting. I know that it's for the best for both us and our future LO's.

In the meantime, do you mind if I stick around? I can't imagine not stalking all my ladies from the PL board, along with those of you I've gotten to know from here. And I get a kick out of the BFP's and pregnancy milestones

Yes you should stick around! I hope you get your bfp right away when you start trying again! I'm glad you have a plan in place, I can see how that would be more comforting that saying "we'll try in a year or two". It's nice to have a set date!

sounds like a good plan to have, its always nice to be secure financially when your trying for a baby!! BUT if it does happen sooner, I am sure you will make it!!

Thanks, hon! We're financially secure right now, but if we were to drop down to just DB's income, with him still in school and having a hard time finding a job in his chosen field, we would be in serious trouble.
