I had a d&c from what they thought was a molar pregnancy on march 27th, They said it wasnt a molar pregnancy when they got the pathology back, but question is today i got 2 lines! I had my last blooddraw after my d&c on april 14th which was a 7 a few days later i took a test an it was neg, and ive tested a couple more times a couple weeks later and neg. today I got a BFP could this be a new pregnancy? Im super scared and nervous i dont want anything to happen like it did before

It definitely could be a bfp. As long as your levels went back down to 0 and then you ovulated, you could get pg. Plenty of women have gotten their bfp the cycle after a D&C and have gone on to have happy healthy babeis. I hope this is a sticky bean. When will you go to the dr? Good luck and KUP!

Im pretty sure that they went down to zero a few days after my last draw when it was a 7 because I had a negative pregnancy test. I have to go to the doc on monday for a draw. Im sooo nervous.

An hpt would show up as negative even if your levels were at 7. They usually can detect a level of 25 or higher and anything below that would show up as neg on an hpt. But since your numbers were soooo low, I would definitely think they went down to zero, a week or two later you O'd and here you are with your bfp! "they" say women are very fertile after a miscarriage. I hope you are able to get into your doc soon for some blood draws. I wish you the best of luck!!!

That sounds like a new pregnancy! I think it's understandable to feel scared and nervous, we all do.

You're welcome to stick around here, but please also check out our sister forum, Pregnancy After Loss. We have a lot of graduates over there

Congratulations, and KUP!!

Soooo many women get their BFPs right after a loss. And, in terms of your numbers, anything under a 5 is considered "0". So, having a 7 and a neg PG test, it looks like this could be it for you! KUP...I'll be thinking of you!

Not the FRER or Answer brand tests. I got a BFP on Answer with a HCG of 5 and a friend got a BFP on a FRER with a HCG of 4.

But, I would say that if you were getting negative tests and now are getting BFP's that this is indeed a new pregnancy!

Good luck!

For some reason my doctor seems to think its " too early" for me to be pregnant again, I think I ovulated about a week or so after I had my last quant draw the one that showed a 7 so I would only be a week or two along. Im just really scared I dont think it could be retained tissue, and I dont have any other known medical problems.. the doc would have seen that during my exams and d&c etc. (sigh) im scared lol

oh i hope it is a new pregnancy for you. i would definitely ask for them to do a BHCG test and follow it up with a 2nd BHCG 2 days later to see if your levels are rising.

good luck!

try not to be scared,,... it could be very well a bfp.. keep your chin up.. easier said than done I know. ... but I agree with the other girls, it would certainly not be the first time that someone on here has conceived straight away!! good luck, t&p with you!!! KUP
