I called my Dr to tell him I was ovulating yesturday and he wasnt there so the nurse said she would call me back today. The Dr told her to tell me to Come in to the clinic this coming Tuesday for a Progesterone level check. He wants to see how well I am ovulating. What should my progesterone levels be? He also wants me to come in a week after the progesterone test to see him and to get my progesterone results and that will be on the 26th and I should be 12 or 13 DPO then. Would a Blood preg test show a positive result then? If so I think I will ask him to do one when I go to see him on the 26th. I have three equate tests here but If the Dr can do a blood test and get an accurate result on the 26th at 12 or 13 DPO then I would rather do it that way. If my Progesterone levels are low will he put me on a progesterone supplement? Thanks in advance ladies for your advice.

If your levels are low he will most likely put you on a supplement. No big deal there.
And it is possible a blood test would show positive before a hpt.

I also agree with Sam, I think a blood test would show a positive better than a HPT. I have no idea about the Progesterone or levels or anything. I'm very happy they are listening to you and have a positive approach on what to do for you!

I'm glad your doc is looking into all of this for you! I'm not sure about what prog levels should be but I bet we can find a chart somewhere. And yes, a blood test would be able to show up before some hpt's. I hope you get some good news on the 26th!

Glad your doc is running some tests for you. And yes, at 12 dpo a blood test should def. pick up hcg. hope this is your month!
