As I sit here typing and nursing a hangover that hurts my soul, it is with a small twinge of sorrow that I must say goodbye to my margaritas, my Coronas, my pinot grigio and my pinot noir. Last night was my last night of drinking for a long time...hopefully around 10 months or so...haha We made the decision to start TTC next cycle and so I must breakup with my favorite drinks. At least I had a good time last night and got silly drunk and feel that it is all out of my system. I raise a toast with my glass of water to joining all you ladies in TTCAL. Let's get some BFPs!!!

Can I just say those are all my favorite drinks. We would have a good time at bar together but hopefully not for a long, long time

 Margaritas!
and the non-alcholic ones suck.
And non-alcoholic wine is just as bad, better off with grape juice in a wine glass.
But YAY!! for the reason

Liz...congrats on deciding to TTC again now (yay)!! I was fine with the no booze rule when i started TTC again, but it was amazing how AS SOON as i got the BFP suddenly i was like "wow, a glass of wine would be soooo nice right now"...now thankfully i'm too sick to want any drinks, but it's just funny how once you know you can't have any i swear it makes you want it more. Good luck this cycle sweetie!!!

I have to say.... AF showed yesterday.. and I had a beer with dinner. I have been drowning AF with a beer, or glass of wine.. or should I say whine.... And than about CD 10 I am back to being sober... This is one way I get over the BFN.. and the *ith showing her face. I am also hoping the next 10 days will be the last of the beer, wine, and oh... sangria I drink...

Isn't it funny how we are all fine about giving it up to get pg but when AF shows we "need" a drink lol. Every time she shows up I'm like well give me a beer.

I am done with alcohol after this weekend probably and I am going to miss my Bellinis. But I'm going to miss coffee even more. My sweet DH is giving up alcohol too, until we get a BFP because "I don't want my swimmers too dumb to swim in the right direction!"

I have to admit when I was about 37 weeks pregnant with Wyatt at the end of August...I was craving I mean craving a nice cold beer. My dh had open one to have with the bbq we had...I had about 1/3 of a beer. I know I'm a bad girl but god lord it was hot and I was huge and it was calling my name!!!! Best of luck to you w/ ttc next month.

Thanks for the support...I'm going to need it on this one! With my last loss, I kept on drinking and partying right up until I got a BFP. Then, we ended up losing that one. I know my drinking before the BFP probably didn't cause the loss but it probably didn't help either. I feel that I need to be strict this time because I really want to have a baby and I'm serious about it. After you experience a loss, you are seriously willing to do anything!!! I'm going on super health kick to make sure I'm getting all the good stuff from food and I've been working out really regularly.

I have been craving a good glass of wine lately too! Since I'm 99% sure AF is on the way, I'll be helping myself to a glass (or bottle) this weekend once she gets here!
