We had such an amazing appointment!!! The baby measured at 8 weeks 1 day (just as I thought based on ovulation) and was beautiful! We have a strong heartbeat, I just don't know how many beats per minute. It was such a wonderful feeling to see my baby's heartbeat for the first time, I started to cry. DH had our camera and took a video of the ultrasound/heartbeat. Our due date is Dec. 23. The doctor said he understood how anxious I have been because of my earlier loss and said he would do an ultrasound any time I wanted. We go back in 2 weeks so I can have my annual visit/pap and hopefully hear the heartbeat.

Lynda, I was in the Dec DDC too! Congrats! It must have been so great to see the heartbeat!
