So I'm at home my tooth is killing me and I get a phone call from a girl I went to high school with. She just called to inform me that she is pregnant again! She is 15 weeks and her daughter is only 7 months old. I mean seriouslly why get pregnant when you didn't want your first one and you don't take care of her. Some of us out there would kill to be a mommy. Normally I would be happy for someone but her NO! She has no clue who her daughters father is #1 and #2 she doesn't even take care of her. Either her mother has her or I have her. So I have to say this why!?! Why is she pregnant yet again with a child she doesn't want. She drank & smoked throughout her whole last pregnancy and is continueing to do so with this one! I'm sorry but I would love to take her head and slam it into the wall and slam some sense into her. Then after she told me this she asked if I would watch the baby tomorrow night. And of course I said yes because I can't stand the thought of her letting her with a stranger (which has been done before when I haven't been able to watch her). Sorry for the rant ladies.

Don't you hate that!!! I think the frustration is magnified by the fact that WE know what it's like to lose one. People that don't appreciate their children as the gifts that they are make me sick!!!

Shortcake.. I am glad that little girl has you! Her mom sounds like she needs to get a clue! I am sorry you have to be the one to step up. It is so not fair that we all sit here trying so hard for something she can't relize she has is such a blessing!!

OMG I know just how you feel..my sister in law has 5 kisd she doesnt take care of and the 1 lives with DH and I. I have been close to slamming her head against a wall and 1 time I almost did..see the 1 that lives with us was in the hospital abd she wouldnt let me in the room and screamed at me that she was his mother not me blah blah blah and then 2 hrs later she called me to come get him...I hate that so much.
