So until Monday I was in full on getting ready for baby mode, including buying things here and there. Remarkably, the things we have don't make me mad or upset. We decided not to wait the full 3 months that the doctor recommended. So as soon as this is all over and AF comes back we'll start again.
So here is my question....is it weird that I am thinking of buying some baby stuff? We are big Disney geeks and online they have Disney onsies on sale for $2.99, normally $9.50. Would it be weird if I bought these since they were on sale and put them with the rest of our baby stuff? Has anyone else continued to buy even after m/c?

I think it is completely fine to keep buying things you like. While I was going through my m/c I was talking to my mom and telling her that I was glad we didn't buy the paint to paint the nursery and she said, "why... are you not going to have kids - the nursery does not have to be for THIS child... but you can still prepare it for the other kids you will have". She was right. We have not painted the nursery yet but I don't think there is anything wrong with preparing for the kids you are going to have.

BUY THEM!!!! Not only is it a great deal, but it will make you feel like you are doing something while you wait. The statistics show that most women go on to have perfectly healthy babies following a loss. There is nothing wrong with being prepared!!!

Thanks ladies! I felt like I was being weird or something. I actually think come July, pg or not, our nursery will be set up. Friends of ours were going to give us all their baby stuff. They have one baby that they didn't plan for, or necessarily want so she had her tubes tied while she was still in the hospital after giving birth. They are moving to FL in July so it was perfect timing. Now I think we'll still end up with the stuff. Which I feel ok about. It actually makes me feel good and gives me hope knowing that it will happen for us, just a little later than we thought it would!

I had a TON of stuff already....sale items and whatnot. My DH and I packed them up and put them in the basement after we miscarried. I think this weekend we are going to bring the box and bag back up. I definitely pick up stuff still, if I think its cute. It helps time pass!

I agree with the other ladies. Buy them! It continues to give you hope and in the end you will have your little one to put in them.

I bought a few things before my BFP, and will continue to buy things even though we've lost this little one. My reason is I like to buy things when they are on sale, insted of buying full price and cramming when we need to. If for some reason we do not have another, then I have a full array of things to give away at babyshowers! Buying baby stuff doesn't bother me, I actually love it and its become addictive. Kaleb has everything, soo I have no choice but to buy for the next lol I like to buy clothes too, on the off season for super cheap.
DF also likes it because it makes him feel positive that we are going to try again, gives him hope. Soo its kinda like a little bit of therapy for us both.

I say buy them. ANYTHING FOR A SALE!!!!!!!!
I have two little outfits that I bought for my sister in law when she had her second baby. They were so cute I couldn't part with them. I have them hanging in the closet of the room that is planned to be the nursery one day.

i still buy stuff.. in fact.. i have to stop myself from buying some things because we don't know what season we will get baby in lol... when preg we buy one little thing a week... i think we will run out of little things soon lol. we also have started stock piling things like washing powder and nappy wash and baby wipes (i have over 20kgs of washing powder and over 1000 individual baby wipes so far) oh and baby bath... things that won't go off but we will need.. and we always get them on special. anything that will help when baby finally comes along/

They are so cute!!! As for buying things, we are building a patio, and I am trying to convince DH to buy a huge swingset! (He's not going for it . . .)

Good for you! Always better to be prepared, and I agree, a sale is a sale! Besides, if it's making you feel happy, then that's all that matters! I LOVE the little stinker one!
