Sat. I has spotting, then yesterday I had REALLY bad stomach pains...all day, and I didn't want to move and was to scared to go to the hospital (thinking ectopic). More spotting yesterday (more than Sat.), it was dark red. This morning my stomach pain is less (thinking it couldn't be ectopic if it doesn't hurt nearly as much?), but I'm throwing up. I know I need to call my Dr., but missing more work is really tough. I have a u/s scheduled for next Tuesday. I just pray my symptoms subside until then.

I'm so sorry that you're going through this. If the pain gets worse I would definitely go to the ER or ask your doc to see you earlier. Hope you don't have to join us again!!

Oh Angela! I too hope it's just normal spotting! I understand the not missing work thing, but at least call your doctor! If they can move your u/s up it would at least give you peace of mind!

HUGS Angela I know how scared you are! I really think you should call your doctor this morning...even if it's not ectopic (and let's pray it isn't!) your doctor should be aware of these issues - and they may be able to move up your appt to see you sooner....you could just be sick, but you should be checked out asap just to make sure. HUGS

Aw hun, I hope that it's just spotting and morning sickness, but just in case you should really call the Dr or go into the hospital tonight to have things checked out. I'm sending lots of good thoughts your way and lots and lots of hugs.

Big hugs sweetie. I agree with the other ladies that you should call your doctor to let him know what is going on. It would be great if they could see you earlier but if not, I'd head to the ER after work. I am so sorry you are going through this right now. Sending you tons of sticky bean vibes.

I really think you should go to the ER. Better safe than sorry. Especially if it is ectopic (which I hope it isn't).

The nurse said to try and reschedule my u/s. I tried, none of the facilities they use has an opening until the end of next week. ACK. I guess I will be in limbo for the time being.

Well, I got a last minute cancellation. They did a transvaginal u/s. It's in the uterus. They saw the gestational sac and the yoke, but no fetal pole. I should be 5 weeks 3 days. They didn't give me any more info letting me know if that's normal or if they usually see it by now . So, I go back next Tuesday.

Oh Angela! I'm so sorry you're going through this!!! I will be praying next Tuesday's u/s goes a lot better for you!!!
You are early, so not seeing what you *think* should be there right now is stressful, but could easily just be the fact that you are only in your 5th week.
I'll be thinking of you!!!

I'm thinking of you and I'm sorry you're having to go through all of this... It's not an ectopic PG, and from a medical standpoint, that's really good news. And, you are early. At 5 wks, only seeing what they saw in the u/s can be totally normal. Keeping everything crossed for you as I say a little prayer!

When I went in for my pregnancy, that's what they saw for me and they said that would be right for 4/5 weeks. So if your dates are off even a couple of days, that's still okay!!!
Here's to seeing a little heartbeat next week!!!
