My appt. went well! My u/s was fine... he said I have a small cyst on the right that he wants to recheck on June 11. He said it could just be from when I O'ed, so when I go for my next u/s, if it's from O, then the cyst should be gone from the right, and should be on the left, if there at all. DF's results weren't ready, but he thinks due to my pain and when I have it, that I probably DO have Endo. Since we're TTC, we obviously can't treat it--as usual treatments would be a hormone block or something which shuts down the ovaries, or to go on the pill... but since that's not happening, he said he thinks it's best to do the (Bel you were right) the hysterosalpinogram (sp?)--HSG--which is what I wanted done to begin with!
He said Endo can sometimes be in the form of a cyst, so next u/s should answer that, but that the u/s proved that I didn't have cancer, or a big mass of Endo... He said that if it's in my tubes, it wouldn't be seen on the u/s, which I already knew. So he said after my next period I should get it done so we know for sure I'm not pg--going to have to the nurse back and make sure they get it authorized first so that there's no delay... cuz that's only like 2 weeks away!
Sooooo, I'm happy that SOMETHING is happening--and the dr. isn't trying to blow me off! He said my optimum cure right now would be to get pg! Grrr.... thanks... that's like 3 times he's told me that... but what I think he's saying is that since we aren't treating it in the usual ways, due to TTC, the only other option for me for relief from it right now would be to get pg... which I already knew... because he told me 2 other times!
So anyways... YAY! and to everyone for their concern!

oh yay Jen - that is fantastic news. I am so glad you are going to get the HSG done. If there is anything in there it should unblock it too.. the doctor who did mine said that her mum got preg 3 times after having a HSG done - so that is a positive.
Yay.. i am sooooo glad they are doing something. Its amazing how a little action can make you feel so much better
did they say when the swimmers test wil be ready?

Thanks Bel & Kelty!
Bel, they said hopefully tomorrow for DF's results... but he said unless they're WAY off, he's thinking that endo is the likely culprit! I shall use my Jedi powers and I WILL get a BFP out of this!
