Our Private Place!!!!!

Ladies....

This is going to be hard on both me and Heather...however, it needs to be stated.

Our current requirements to get the password for the Private Place is as follows:

150 posts
Be an active member of TTCAL for one month

With the 12,010 by 2010 thread being so active, the post requirement is being met almost immediately. Which isn't a big deal...however, when the rules were created we didn't have a chat thread like the 2010 thread. Infact, they weren't even thought of yet for JM. They only became popular since last summer. The Private Place has been there longer.

What Heather and I discussed is this...

150 posts OUTSIDE of the 2010 thread
Be an active member of TTCAL for one month

There are very personal things spoken of in the Private Place, that we don't want someone to get the post requirement quick, read it, know personal details and then leave right away. You know?

Forgive me if this sounds harsh, but, we're trying hard to make everyone happy and this is what we have decided on.

I was thinking of the private forum and wondering how the rules would work with me having over 1000 posts already! I did want to join, simply because there are things Id like to talk or share about that Im not comfortable on an open forum, but I like the new rules! I havent posted in the 2010 topic yet, so my posts will be other areas, and the one month thing is great! I guess I'll keep waiting lol

those are good rules..I am also a member of the Nov08pr and you have to be a member there for 4 months.

Although Ive actually been on here for three years..I will consider this day one and start posting so that maybe eventually I can join the private place..

I think private places are a good idea.

we've had alot of issues in our pr with different things lol and from our Cranberry hideaway we have the hush house..but you have even more requirements with it..being there for a year..and so many post lol

Just to clarify- you will need 150 posts in TTCAL- not just anywhere on JM!!!

Silly question though - we are meant to pm one of the hosts when we reach that amount. Is there somewhere in our CP that shows where our posts go?

There is a way to see where all of your posts have gone, and that's through the Advanced Search.

Thanks for letting us know where to check where our posts go! I dont mind the wait, or the post count at all. My PR needs 300 posts, but an active member. We pretty much know whos who in our PR, its not one like this where many people come and go lol But this is a great idea, I wouldnt want just anyone reading my posts in there, and I respect others that think the same.
