Yep you are going to bleed pretty heavily. As long as you aren't soaking through 1 pad per hour you are fine. You'll also start having clots and lots of other icky stuff coming out. I'm sorry you have to go through this.

I got to the point where I couldn't wear a pad because it was coming out to fast, and got really dizzy and I should have gone the ER. You'll be amazed at how much blood you might lose. If you feel like it's to much, go to the hospital.

Be sure to stay hydrated and take a vitamin every day as well. Did they give you any painkillers to take? Because the cramping can all of a sudden become VERY intense.

I had a D & E done, and there was no bleeding.. 2 months later we conceived again. I cant imagine the pain and the bleeding, and I just wanted you to know I was thinking of you.. you will get through this and you will be stronger, it may not seem like it now, and it will never go away, but you will find a way to live with your loss.. (((( hugs to you))))

this is the way it starts. If you feel that the blood is just "pouring" out with no control, go to the e.r. I had this happen to me and ended up with an emergency d&c. Please KUP, and I will pray this ends soon....

Unfortunately, this is normal. It will go light and heavy back and forth. If the pain is really intense and you start bleeding more than a pad an hour, or have a fever, you should call the Dr. I mean, call the Dr. at all if you are ever concerned! As if the trauma of loosing a baby wasn't enough, going through the miscarriage is physically draining as well. Please take care of yourself. Rest and eat well. Thinking of you.

Exhaustion is very normal. If you feel like something isn't right, it's better to call or go get checked out. And I second the keep hydrated. I was really surprised at how thirsty I got. Also your body is swinging back the other way with the hormones and now that you have physical evidence, it's just so FINAL, so grouchy is completely normal too. Big hugs!

I agree with everybody. If it feels like to much call your dr. or go to the E.R. Better safe than sorry.

Everyone has some great advice. Does your doc know that the bleeding has intensified? You may just want to put a call in so that they are aware of what's going on... Take care of yourself. We're all here for you!
