So I had my perinatologist appt today, which I thought was just going to be initial consult + genetic counseling, but turns out they also planned to do my NT screening u/s....it was SO COOL! It's amazing the amount of detail they showed us (all parts of the baby, organs, just incredible!) - and they paused for a little bit to show us the baby bouncing around too 
The hb was 160 and they said the baby is still measuring a few days ahead. Apparently the fluid they were measuring to assess risk was very small (which is good) so the doctor said even without my blood results back that he expects my risk result to be lower than for my age group (yay). We won't get our official results back until after the 2nd blood test which will happen around 16 weeks.

In this one you can see the baby's fingers!
And now for the little surprise - so they tell us that they are virtually certain about the baby's gender (doctor says he's 99% certain  )....I was TOTALLY surprised because I thought 12w3d was way too early to tell...but it looks like I'll be joining......
TEAM PINK 
We're totally thrilled...and the good news is that even if he's wrong, we're still thrilled! It was just such a relief to see how much the baby has developed and that so far everything looks perfect!!!

It's standard process for oldies like me since I'll be over age 35 at delivery...in my case they probably also would have sent me as a precaution because i've been on several class c meds during the first trimester (which the perinatologist reviewed and wasn't concerned, yay)
