Hi Ladies!

So I went and bought some opk's today. I'm not going to go crazy about this cycle, i think i've been stressing myself out too much lately. Pretty much this is just for my info as I am totally clueless when I O and everything. So I have a couple of questions, the pack I got came with 7 tests adn the instructions said to start using around 10-11 days into my cycle from the first day of AF or spotting. AF came last friday (15th) but I did have some light spotting a couple of days before, which I normally do. Would I start counting from the day I actually got a full blown AF, or the spotting days?? Also, is there a certain time that's best to use the OPK's? Ex. FMU?? Okay...so maybe it does sound like I"m going a little crazy...hahah!!

I would think that you would start 10-11 days after AF showed up in full force. Good luck!

I would count the first full day of AF as day 1.

FMU is actually not best for OPKs. I try to use mine mid-morning or late afternoon. Just be sure to test at the same time each day so you don't miss the surge.

Good luck!

I would start counting from the day you started to bleed. My first day is usually light and then heavy on day 2. Also do not use FMU for OPK. You should test after 2pm for best results, unless you have a bunch of test and you can test AM & PM. But at least in the PM is best. Good luck!

So I guess I"ll start this afternoon and see where that puts me. I'm already thinking this cycle is a bust though...DH just switched to nights and they are tacking overtime onto that so we are going to be on totally different schedules. Oh well...it'll still be interesting to know when I actually O!
