Just a shout out for those that have or are using acupuncture.

I have my first appointment tomorrow with a Chinese Herbalist & acupuncturist and was wondering if there are any things I should disclose (apart from m/c, cycle, o etc...) and anything I should ask. This practitioner works in conjunction with an IVF clinic (Monash Clayton Victoria Australia).

i'm currently doing acupuncture for fertility or more so for fertility loss (m/c). I love it. It relaxes me so much, which i think is important. i'm not sure what questions you should ask. I asked alot about the ovaries and how acupuncture helped with eggs. G/L

They should ask you a lot of questions so they can get the info they need. I've been getting acupuncture for 15 years, so you could say I'm a fan.

I started doing acupunture and taking the herbal tea and got pregnant really fast after I started. Unfortunatley I had a miscarriage about 2 weeks ago but just started going back for treatments. I already ovulated since my miscarriage and I really believe it works with regulating your cycles, etc. I go about 2 x a week and take the herbs twice a day. Good luck. I have also heard it works wonders for other things besides fertility.

I went this morning & he took alot of notes about my history.

Acupuncture was really good and I feel really relaxed.

Start on the herbs tomorrow.

He is more or less going to regulate my cycles (which the naturopath was doing) & help me to carry to full term.
