So I just finished a natural miscarriage (at least I think I am done, no more bleeding, passed all the "stuff") it only lasted about a week.... anyway when should I start counting days or do I just wait until my actual AF comes and start there? We are getting married August 1 and want to wait to get pregnant until after the wedding so I want to be able to track my cycles until then... any help?

I'm sorry for your loss! HUGS!!!! I started counting the day I passed the tissue as CD1 and had AF exactly 4 weeks later. Everyone is different though. Good luck! and Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

I would say that waiting until AF comes to start counting will be the safest bet. Just remember that there is a good chance you will O before AF gets here!!! If you are wanting to wait to TTC, preventative measures should be taken immediately (pill, condoms, etc.)

I am sorry for your loss. I waited until AF started to count as day 1 but not sure if my cycle is still back to normal yet. Good advice from the girls above.

Congratulations on your wedding.

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you the best of luck TTC. And I would wait until after your first AF to track you cycle. Mine took awhile to come.

My first AF following the m/c came exactly 28 days after the first day of bleeding. My two cycles before the m/c were 24 days, and all the cycles since the m/c are now 28 days. It's almost like my body treated the m/c bleeding as a period (I had a natural m/c at 6 weeks). I am pretty sure I ovulated following the m/c because I noticed EWCM around two weeks after. So if you don't want to get pregnant be sure to take preventative measures!

Sorry for your loss. Like the other ladies said I would wait till AF comes to start counting but you could count now if you wanted I don't think it would hurt. I would use protection if you are trying to wait until after August.

I started counting from the day of my d/e.... To get an idea of how long it took AF to show up. It was 35 days. (I allways had clockwork cycles.. 28 days, ever month) Now I am at 31 days, for the last two cycles.

I'm very sorry about your loss.

I had a natural m/c and AF showed 23 days later (28 days from when I started spotting). It can be very different for everyone. I would wait until AF shows to start counting again.
