[SIZE="3"]This morning when I woke up my stomach was very hard and I was not feeling well. At work I was sitting at the desk and I was in a lot of pain. Then all of a sudden I felt something weird down there. I went to the bathroom and I passed a huge clot and started bleeding. I am home now and going thru about 3 pads an hour... could I be having a m/c? With my son I had to have a D&C so I have no clue what is happening[/SIZE
UPDATE: Last evening we went to the ER and they said that more than likely it was a m/c. I was passing alot of tissue. I'm still in a good bit of pain today but I wanted to thank you all for your concern.
UPDATE 2: Just got home from the ER there is HCG in my blood. I'm going to go lay down. In alot of pain physically & emotionally.

My last AF was incredibly uncomfortable pain-wise and very clotty flow (TMI). I would definitely call your doc if you're worried so they can take a blood test. GL and KUP!

I would definitely call your doctor. Pregnancy loss can cause some wacky AFs, I know my loss did.

This isn't your first AF after your D&C, right? I know my first AF after my loss was really heavy and wacky with clots and all. Gross. I never had a second AF, so I don't know if it would have stayed like that for multiple cycles. You probably wouldn't pass this much in a miscarriage this early, but I'm no doctor! That said, you should never loose more than a pad of blood an hour for more than three hours. If this keeps up this heavy, please go to the ER!
Hugs hun! I'm sorry!!!!

Shortcake, I'm so sorry you are having to deal with this! considering the fact that your AF was missing in action for a while it could very well be a m/c. I would run to the ER and have them do that BT you never got. If there is any trace of hcg in your blood you would have your answer. 3 pads in 1 hour is a lot for AF. HUGS!!

You should definitely go to the ER. They told me to run there if I went through 1 pad an hour. I hope that everything is okay.

I'm so worried about you! Has it gotten any better? Are you in a lot of pain? Please keep us posted. I vote to see a doc if this is really abnormal for you too.

Go straight to the hospital, bleeding that heavily is not normal.
Thinking of you sweetie and hope everything is ok. Please let us know what is happening when you feel up to it.

Just checking in to see if you are ok. I was told the same thing as some of the ladies have already suggested - see a doctor if you are bleeding through more than 1 pad an hour or if the heavy bleeding lasts more than 3 hours. I really hope things are alright! KUP - thinking about you!

Oh honey, I am so sorry you are going through this. How are you doing physically? Has the bleeding slowed down at all? We are here for you.

Shortcake--I tend to agree with Kristin.... thinking maybe it could be leftover tissue, as only being a couple days late probably wouldn't cause you to pass such large clots. I had periods months after my m/c where I was passing clots that were half the size of my fist! And some months would be super heavy and painful (always the months that I passed clots), while other months would be more like spotting the whole time. It's so super confusing... but again, I would think that if it were another m/c then something would have showed up on the BT's, KWIM? Either way, get to an ER if the bleeding hasn't slowed, hon... I'm sorry, I checked the board last night and your post wasn't there... it also wasn't there when I logged on this am at 5--now it comes up but with yesterday's post date!
You're in my thoughts and prayers.... KUP on how you're going--I'm worried about you!

How are you doing? has the bleeding slowed? With my m/c I clotted (with a little pain, but nothing like what others have described) for over 12 hours. My body wasn't getting rid of the tissue. I am so sorry you are going through this... Please keep us updated and let us know how you are doing. Take it easy. We're all thinking of you.

I'm so sorry you are going through this! Did they do any BTs? Did they think it was from your last miscarriage or a new pg? I'm hoping you can get some answers. I would also hate for you to start to mourn another miscarriage if it's just stuff leftover from your first. To me, it would be more positive if it was related to your last lost. I hope you get some answers...please KUP. HUGS!!
