Ok, I'm sure you get this alot on this board, but I am an inpatient and anxious lady, so I had to ask.
How long did it take for AF to return after your m/c, from the date it started?
I had a natural early m/c, and today is the 28th day after the bleeding actively began. I keep thinking it's going to come any minute now...I have been cramping and running to the restroom to check TP, and nothing is there.
I took an HPT last week to make sure my HCG had gone down, and sure enough it was a . So, I hoping, wishing, praying AF makes an appearance soon?
TIA, I appreciate your help!

Well, I guess we have been NTNP since we haven't protected since the m/c. But I have no idea if I O'ed or not. The books I have read say that directly after an m/c, some women will O, and some won't. I have heard of many women conceiving again 2 weeks later! i hope that's it for you. Good luck!
Of course I would be happy if I had conceived this time around, but I would prefer to wait until after one AF, just to ease my mind.

Thank you hun and G/L. If AF does not arrive for you by 8 weeks past your m/c I would call and ask for a BT and then for them to give you meds to start AF.

I'm seeing a pretty good average for 30-35 days. Which means, AF should show in the next week. I really really hope I fall in with the average!

AF came for me 43 days after the D&C. I hope you either get AF soon, or a BFP!

I had my first period after my first D&C 7 weeks later. I had a second D&C almost weeks ago and no sign of AF anytime soon. My body apparently takes a bit longer...

I miscarried naturally at 11 weeks (10 wk 6d when I first spotted, miscarried the following day at 11 weeks)....I bled for 2 weeks initially, then didn't for a week and then bled again for almost a week, after that week, it took exactly one month for me to get a my period (but I showed no signs of Oing that cycle), then I bled almost the entire month of April (again showing no signs of Oing that cycle), finally Oed in May but we didn't catch the egg....
Does that make things clear as mud???? I guess I am saying it took me 3 months from the start of my miscarriage to have a normal cycle.....
Good luck, hoping AF makes her visit very, very soon!

my m/c was induced by meds, so from the day it started I got AF 4 exactly weeks later. I think you should get AF about 4 weeks after your levels are back to 0, which is what happened with me. My levels went down really fast, considering I was 12 weeks when we had the m/c. Good luck and hopefully either AF shows or you get a BFP!!!

AF showed 27 days after the first day of bleeding from my m/c. I had a natural m/c at 6 1/2 weeks. My two cycles since have also been 28 days. Before the m/c, I had 24 day cycles.

Mine showed exactly 30 days after, which was my typical cycle day before my bfp. It was weird tho I had no symptoms of AF like I have had for the past 14 years. I just woke up and there she was. Later that day I did have really bad cramps. Sorry if thats all tmi. Good luck hope you get a suprise AF like I did..hehe!!

I also had 24 day cycles before the m/c, and mine was natural and occured at 6w2d.
Thank you so much ladies for all of the responses. I am still cramping and my BBs-especially my left one- are killing me, and have been since about 2 weeks after the m/c. I took another HPT today, and sure enough it was a BFN, which I am perfectly happy with. I would like to be able to TTC again starting in a few weeks...it might take longer than I thought, though. I can live with that. But would definitely prefer if she showed sooner rather than later!

Yay for CD1...Now you can start to TTC again? I hope things go well. When do you typically O? I only ask because your cycles can be pretty messed up for a while. Are you temping? KUP as to how things are going!
