My body is giving me a lot of signs that I'm either O'ing today, or gearing up to soon...O pains, eggwhite CM, sore bb's, nausea. The signs that I'm getting right now didn't show up during my first cycle post D&C, so I'm guessing that I may not have O'd at all. I'm SO glad that my body seems to be getting back to normal.
The only problem is...I don't know what cycle day I'm officially on. I had started the pill on May 3, and stopped taking it May 23. Two days later, the withdrawal bleeding started. It lasted for 4 days, and I spotted for a few more. It was heavier and more painful then my regular AF, but otherwise, exactly the same. However, everything that I've read says that it's JUST withdrawal bleeding, not AF.
That means that I'm on CD 37 right now That's REALLY late to ovulate! I thought that CD 27 was bad, but this is AWFUL!
However, isn't it possible for my body to have thought that the withdrawal bleeding was an AF? In that case, I would be on CD 13...which is a GREAT time to O, and might mean that the previous long cycle was just my body trying to regulate after the D&C.
I think I might just be getting hopeful at the thought of O'ing on a more normal day this month I don't think it's looking very likely that I have anything close to normal length cycles, since it took 43 days after the D&C for AF to come, and the cycle after was 40 days long.
On a side note...it is SO unfair to have to NOT jump DB's bones when I know that we could make a baby Petty, I know, but I HAD to get that off my chest!

Would it be really that bad to be O'ing on cd 37? I mean as long as your LP is a normal length, whose to say you can't get pregnant. I may be missing something. I hope your body is finally getting back to normal!!!

According to pregnology.com...
"A cycle exceeding 35 days is termed oligomenorrhea. Long cycles are usually associated with ovulation problems such as:
- there may be no ovulation (anovulation),
- ovulation may be very irregular,
- ovulation is abnormal (inadequate egg quality).
The website also makes it sound like if you ovulate very late in a cycle (more than 21 days), you will most likely have problems getting pregnant or maintaining a pregnancy, and 'treatment may help you achieve a more successful cycle.'"
I know that it's not impossible to get pregnant with long cycles and have a healthy baby, but the chances don't seem very high

P, I wouldn't worry about it. Your cycle could be off just from stopping the birth control pills. The withdraw bleeding could have been AF to your body, thus letting it know its okay to start O'ing again. On BC, you don't O at all. So I would take it as cycle day 13.

P - you are so adorable It sounds like it was AF and you are CD 13. I understand how it feels about holding off when deep inside you want a baby. After our 1st loss I really wanted to try again right away but neither of us was in that phase of our relationship. So like a good girl I behaved for a few months until he gave me the green light!

I agree, you're probably on CD13. I remember what it's like not being able to take advantage of O time. It felt like such a waste of a good egg!

I agree with the other ladies in that it sounds like your body is "normal" for all the stuff you have been through. I would keep and eye and track your cycle as if you are on day 13 and see what happens. Definitely give your body a few more cycles to figure it all out again.

Thank you, ladies!
I decided to go ahead and reset my FF so that today would show as CD 14. I'm going to start temping next cycle, so hopefully I'll learn a whole lot more about my body!

I was going to say the same things.... Your body... (like alot of us) Is so out of wack.... whay day? how long? did I o? This is so unfair for us! But I think it is your body just trying to get back on track after a m/c, being on pills, the stress of it ALL!! Just keep temping, and monitoring ... HUGS!!!

I'm glad you reset FF. After being on the pill, I think your body is just normalizing. And, I think you'll probably find that your cycles become shorter and more regular now. Temping and opks helped me tremendously, so, I'm glad you're temping. Good luck and KUP, penelope!

Why did you stop the pill after only 20 days?
I hope the bleeding you had was a true AF!!!!! Bring on the BDing!

Thanks, ladies!
Jessica, I stopped taking the pill because after doing more research about how it worked and its possible side effects, I felt that it wasn't the right choice for me. I was also really struggling with feeling pregnant all the time.
We're actually still WTTC, so no BD'ing for us

I know my cycles have been really off since my m/c at the end of February and my doctor said that is really normal. He said to give it another month and see if I get back on track or if I am still off. It is also possible that my body has a new "normal" which would kinda stink because I was so regular before and am irrregular now. Just my doctors opinion. I hope it all works out for you and you get back on track soon.
