Prometrium and charting

So I started Prometrium orally at 3dpo. My temp has remained over 98 degrees from ovulation onward. I know that sometimes this means pregnancy. That's how it went last time I was pregnant (I was also on Prometrium).

So I have been all excited, thinking I might be pg because my temp stayed elevated. But now I'm wondering if it's the Prometrium. Does anyone know if Prometrium can do that (and by "that" I mean give me false hope)?

What's prometrium used for? I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question but am curious about the use of the drug. Thanks!

It is used to promote the endometrial lining and make sure the baby sticks (if there is a baby, please let there be a baby).

You're 10dpo though, have you tested? I got my BFP at 10dpo with a FRER.

I can't say for sure, I've been on prometrium but the first cycle I used it I got pregnant so I don't know how it would have looked on my chart if I hadn't.

I don't know anything about prometrium except what you've just shared, but I really hope your temps are because of a baby!! KUP!

I've taken two HPTs, both negative, but they aren't of the best quality. I've had pretty major cramps since 4DPO, which I didn't have last pregnancy, and I've had none of the typical side effects of Prometrium. And I'm on fertility drugs - last time, I get pregnant the first try with these drugs, so I'm trying to stay positive!

I had another BFN, but it's still really early and the tests aren't great. I will be picking up FRER maybe later today.

I developed a serious EPS though - I've lost the ability to get a good nights slip, i wake constantly, and it's a change I noticed when I was pregnant with my son. We shall see if it means anything.

i took prometrium with this pregnancy but i started it at 5 wks and took it vaginally so im not really sure what it does orally

I bought a FRER and will test with it in the morning. I won't worry about negatives until Thursday - I got a bunch of early negatives with my last pregnancy too. I'll keep everybody posted!

KUP...Is prometrium a form of progesterone? I think progesterone can keep temps up, but, I've never used it, so I'm not sure. I hope you get that BFP in the AM! And, if you do...we want to see pics! Good luck! I hope this is it for you!

So I got a BFN, but FF is telling me I have been testing way too early. They seem to think I should wait until 16dpo. And FRERs are only 53% accurate this early. So maybe there's still hope.
