Just called me to say that she lost her baby. 
Honestly this year is just crappy! She told me yesterday that she was spotting a bit and went to see her dr. this morning. She then went for an u/s and they wouldn't tell her anything - except that "she conceived before so she'll conceive again". Like that isn't telling it all! She is really upset right now, but she kind of had a feeling it wasn't going to be good news. She was 10 weeks on Saturday.
This sounds way too familiar! Why does this keep on happening????

Oh I am so sorry. I understand how you are feeling, my SIL lost a baby when I was pregnant with DD and then I had my miscarriage while she was pregnant with her DD. It was so hard for both of us. HUGS.

Aww sweetie I am so sorry to hear that.. My sil was pregnant with me our due dates were a day apart, and she called this weekend to tell me that she was loosing the baby, and so I was able to be there for her because I just went through this last wk. I wonder the same thing.. HUgs to you sweetie..

oh Trish i'm so sorry to hear that  i think the doctors really rarely know why we m/c so they try to console with the "well you conceived so getting pregnant isn't the issue"...mine essentially said the same thing - they were very comforting about the loss, but i think trying to focus me on the positive for the future. I'm very sorry your sister's going through this right now, but i'm glad you're there for her to lean on. HUGS

Oh, I am so sorry for your sister. I hope she's doing OK. At least she has you to lean on...
Please know that you're both in my T&Ps during this really tough time! Having an u/s like that is just horrible. So many of us remember it too well. I hope she's doing OK.
