I've been really confused about my beta results. It was 31.9 on Thursday and two days later on Saturday it went all the way down to 0. I was completely not expecting this because i didn't think they would go ALL the way down that quickly, especially since i wasn't bleeding at all at that time. I've heard some people say they're confused as to how my beta could be at 0 if i haven't passed everything yet. Does anyone know? I'm horribly confused as well.

Sometimes it doesn't take long for the hCG to drop completely. It is normal to not begin to bleed right after or even during the drop. If you are concerned I do suggest you call your doctor.

I'm sorry you're going through this!!!

I didn't have betas done but (and don't take this the wrong way) 31 does not sound like a very high number. Perhaps that is why they went down so fast. I do know that urine tests will go down a bit slower than blood tests but other than that I don't know too much else about betas.

I really hope things start happening (physically) butI would see a Dr if nothing happens soon. From the time I started spotting it took 3 days to fully miscarry and about 6 to finish all bleeding. Are you spotting at all yet?

I was 12 weeks along when I had my m/c. I ended up in the ER 2 days after it started and my beta was 177, that was Thursday. On Monday my beta was 12. It went down really fast. I only had 1 day of really heavy bleeding. So I guess it can happen really fast, especially if your numbers aren't that high to start off. hope that helps.

HcG goes down at about the same rate it goes up. It decreases for half (or more) every 48-72 hours. So, it could certainly drop pretty quickly. Have you had any bleeding yet? How far along were you? I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you're doing OK. Let us know how things go. KUP

I haven't had any bleeding. Yesterday i had some brown spotting in the afternoon and then nothing more. I wish my body would do what it needs to do already.
