Hi. My name is Stacy and I'm new. I have posted in different sections because I fit them all.I had a hcg trigger shot friday night. We bd fri @ the time of the shot. then sat night(early Sunday), we bd again. I had ewcm around 5pm Sun. That shot is suppose to make you ovulate in 24-36 hours. That would be almost 48. I woke up this morning with backaches. I'm having light lotion like cm now. My questions are: Can you have pain after ovulation? I hope so. Can ewcm occur after ovulation and do you think we timed it right? What were your experiences? I have a 3.5 year old daughter. I was diagnosed with pcos about 4 months ago.I don't want to get my hopes up but we have been ttc #2 for almost 3 years and a m/c in Oct 08. We just started fertility treatments. It's going to be a long 2ww. Thanks for all answers and support. Please feel free to add anything.

Sorry for your loss hun. I never had the trigger shot but you can have ewcm after ovulation. HTH!

Yes, you can have EWCM after Oing. Many women don't, but, some do... I hope you caught that egg! The 2ww is so much easier if you can share it with others, so, stick around and let us obsess with you We're really good at it! Welcome and I hope you get your BFP!

I don't know anything about the hCG trigger shots either! I'm sorry about that, however, like the ladies have mentioned - EWCM can be present after ovulation!

Hi Stacy - the 2WW is sooo hard! you can def. have pain after O. it depends on your body, sometimes you get it before, during or after your egg has been released (I've read somewhere) and EWCM is alwasy good. I think your timing was good. Good luck and hopefully you will get that BFP in a couple of weeks!!!

Yes trigger shots typically make you ovulate 12-36 hours after. I have had three, but also followed up with IUI. Usually the day after the trigger I had pretty bad O pains. Sounds like you BD'd when you were suppose to!
