OK... What is your dream vacation?? My Dream vacation would be to the rain forest in one of those cute little cabanas in the middles of no were! Or Australia in the outback.

How did you meet your husband? Back in the late 80's early 90's... thier was a teen hangout called the Parkway. What is was... was a road that went about 5 miles long. between route 13 and Oxfordvalley Rd. This road is the Levittown Parkway (Hence Parkway) In the middle of this 5 mile road was a shopping center, with a bowling Alley, a Taco Bell, two Pizza places and at the time a Po'foks (a resturant) .. At night when the weather got warm all the guys would bring thier cars (all tricked out, and sports up) And they would hang out and race up and down this 5 mile road... Well the girls would drive a round.. and the guys would yell and whistle.. than the girls would stop.. and flirt.... Well I see this guy in this black 1978 El Camino... (I LOVE EL CAMINOS) and he was hot... He was hanging out with these guys we meet the night before ... (By the way this is about June 18, 1993 a week after I graduated) So we start talking... we went to a pool hall he finished paying off my Meucci pool stick, and the rest is history...
What's your favorite color? I think my favorite color most of the time is purple... but depending on the day I like Pink, Black, and blue...
Favorite fast food meal? Favorite fast food would have to be Arbbys... I don't get to have it very offten..... the closet one is about 20 mins away... so not so fast huh??

Are you crafty? I am at times... I paint, I love to make home made gifts... I have made my grandmother a swarkoski crystal braclet with every child/grand/great grand childs's birthday along with a poem, I did try scrapbooking didn't like it, I put baskets together for gifts, I want to learn how to sew...
What do you do in your spare time? My spare time... I am always on JM. I love to sit out on my deck when it is nice. SOmetimes read, (mostly at night before bed) Walk.. and go to the park.
What is your favorite animal? My favorite animals is my two dogs..
Or my favorite animal..... would be a manatee.... I think they are the most cutest lovable sweet, animals on Earth!

Where did you go on your honeymoon For our honeymoon we went to Punta Cana... When we went thier.. it was brandnew... Our hotel wasnt even opened a year when we got thier.. It had only opned 3 months before when we booked it. The airport at that time was a shack... REALLY... you could see through the airport. No walls.. just a thathcet roof... It was an experiance!!! We really had a great time!! I would go back in a heartbeat!
Favorite ice cream? From Were???
Ok if we are just talking from the supermarket.. Rum Rasin.. followed by Coffee..
ColdStone.... Banana icecream, w/ bananas, caramel, and a little hot fugde. Or when we go upstate... I get teaberry.... can only find it up state!!!!

Whats's your favorite childhood memory? My favorite memory is being upstate Pa with my family... Most of the has since passed.. So these are treasured memories.. The cabins were we stayed.. had no TV's, it was only you and yours... We would spend the whole week together. The kids couldn't just be placed in front of the tv.. so we would play games, cards, fish, hike, drive at dusk looking for deer/bear and get icecream. Swim in the creek, have campfires, It was the best... I started taking my son... he is 18 and still asks us when are we going back up.. so every year we go back... When I am thier.. even though my pop-pop and my uncles Brad and Bill are gone. I feel the closeset to them in those cabins, and back by the creek.

That is a fantastic childhood memory. Reminds me of times we used to have a kids too. I love that you have incorporated it into you son't life and that even at 18 he wants to go back each year!

It's so fun to get to know you Kary, So you are an RN, what is the best part of your job?
The best of my job is being able to help people heal, and teach them.. about their med's, their tests, help ease their fears, and watch them get better and walk out of the hospital. And those that can't get better, I take pride in being able to help family understand what will be happening and hold their hands, hug them, or just stand by for support while their loved one leaves this world and enters the next. I love my job.
If you could do any other job, what would it be? I think I would love to mountain ranger. Or something outdoors/with animals. I love wild animals. (But could never be a vet... I hurt so much when I see an animal hurting) I know that is part of being a ranger... but they get to protect them too.
Do you want to be a SAHM or work when you have a little one?
While I would love to be a stay at home mom.. finances would never allow.. (Unless I hit the lottery) I went back to school for nursing.. since that is a great opportunity With my dh having MS, I needed something that I would be able to support the family while also being able to be their for my dh, my ds, and any other blessing that may come into our lives..... I only work 3, 12 shifts a week.... And with them being nightshift... This will be a great compromise to being a SAHM...

What is your favorite book? My favorite book is Divinci Code (I read that book in 12 hours).. Almost non stop.. Angles and Demons.. I read in ablout 2 days.. I hope Dan Browns next book is just as good!!!!!
Favorite movie? Harry Potter or Sweet Home Alabama... (I could watch them again, again, and again)
Favorite tv show? Wow.. I don't have just one.... Bones, CSI (Las Vegas), The Metalist, NCIS, and Grey's....... (Those are only the ones that went cancled..  )

Has anyone ever told you that you are an amazing woman.
In the little bit that I have gotten to know you on here there seem to be many times when you could have packed it in and chosen an easier road. But you didn't. You stuck through things and made your situation the best possible situation for you. I hope nothing but the best comes your way!!
