Ok I finally got the final word from the Short term disability I have to concieve after Aug first. SO that means I would not be able to try untill almost the end of Aug. So my thought is to try and change my cycle with B/C pills. I used to do it all the time... When we would go away on Vacation, if it was going to be around AF I would just "double pill pack it" So I would just start the new pack and skip the "week of surgar pills". I have one month of my b/c pill left. If I start the pack on the 22nd of June I would get AF around July 20th.(about 10-12 days late) Hopefully Oing around Aug 5th. I know it is only 3 1/2 weeks different... But the thought of Not being able to try is killing me.... I was going to go on the pill for the one month as it was... So thier was no chance. I just want that time (worry free from bills) with my baby if i am blessed to get pregnant.

DO YOU THINK I AM INSANE? I know it is only 3 1/2 weeks... But I don't think I can wait those weeks!!!!

UPdate.. The Short term disability will request my medical records to see when I concieved... So that is why I have to Concieve after Aug 1st!!!!

waiting is soooo hard.. but you have to do what is best for you.. and it sounds like waiting those extra weeks may be the best thing for your situation... very very best of luck deciding what to do

I think whatever you want to do to help the time go by easier...DO IT. Its so hard to wait and I think you are doing the responsible but hard thing to do. I like your plan.

I agree that it will help alter your cycles, but will it delay ovulation on your first cycle? If you think it will help, then do it.

I am hoping it delays it just a little... Just to make sure it is in to the Month of Aug. That I ovulate.

My only concern would be the uncertainty of it all. I didn't ever alter my cycles so for me it would be scary not know what would happen. If you have done it before and are comfortable with it go for it. It will make the wait time a little less and let you try again in one (ish) cycle instead of 2.

I've done that before where I went on the pill to make sure AF came at a specific time. (it was for my wedding/honeymoon). I've also doubled up on pills, cause I was so sick & tired of getting AF all the time. It should work. Good luck and hopefully it will all work out and you will get the BFP in Aug. I know the wait will be hard, but like you said, that way you will be able to enjoy your time with the baby.

I have put my FF account on hold... I will start the pills on June 22nd.... that will be CD13 I will be temping on this site..





To see what my temps do on the pill.. and to see if I can change the Ovulation date to around Aug 5th.....

Good Luck Kary! I think you are doing the right thing and what is best for your family. At the same time, I understand about not wanting to wait, even just a few weeks.

When you want a baby as much as we do every second seems like years.....

Well... that sucks but at least you know. I hear you're more fertile after coming off b/c.. don't know if that's really true but let's go with it!!!! Here's to an august conception!!!! Good luck!
