Success story from a former member - preg/baby mentioned

Hi, I hope it's okay to post this here, but since I lived here for most of 2008 and went through 3 losses here, I thought I would share my success and perhaps offer you all some hope. My name is Kelly and I joined here in Feb 2008 after my first early and unexplained loss (I already had one DD, no complications whatsoever with that pregnancy). I got pregnant again right away but again miscarried. The doc advised me to take a few months off, so we waited until June and conceived again. That pregnancy was a rollercoaster from the start. I measured behind, then had a heartbeat, then had spotting, then had good growth and hb, then had bad betas, etc, etc. Finally, at 10 weeks we found out the heartbeat had stopped. I had a D&C the next day. I told myself I just couldn't go through that again. But time is an amazing healer and we decided to try again after AF. I conceived right away AGAIN (I realize that I'm lucky in that regard) and delivered my baby girl May 31, 2009. My pregnancy with her did have some crazy complications and was pretty scary for me. But, she is happy and healthy!

Oh I am So happy for you that you got a second daughter after all that, and it does give me hope. After two losses, I just hate to even get excited about getting pregnant and going through it all over again, thanks for your story and congrats!
