DB and I went skydiving for the second time today. There is NO feeling in the world like it. SO awesome!!
Last time we jumped solo, and this time, we jumped tandem. With tandem, you take a 20 minute plane ride to 12,500', free fall for a mile, and then pull the chute at 3,500'. I was thinking this might be my last time, because it's pretty expensive. Now I just don't know! The next step would be to complete our AFF (Advanced Freefall) certification to be able to jump by ourselves.

We jump at Eden North ( http://www.edennorth.com). I LOVE the place - the energy there is so positive and the people are amazing. You can feel that everyone there loves what they're doing!
The weather was absolutely beautiful!

How awesome!! DH and I went in Mexico. It was so amazing. I would do it again in a heartbeat. You are right, there is nothing like it!!!

Oh P - You are so pretty! It looks like you had a blast! I envy you being able to do it - I love exciting things but am afraid of heights and think I would pass out before jumping out of the plane!
Glad you had a great time, you deserve it.

You are so brave...I could never do it. I get vertigo just looking down at the ground when I'm higher than 2 stories, hahaha.

Thanks, ladies! I honestly believe that EVERYONE should jump atleast once in their life  DB and I added it to our bucket list early in our relationship, but it was one of those someday things that you don't think much about. Then exactly 11 months ago today, he arranged our first jump to be my surprise birthday present. We thought we would be fine going up once, but as soon as we were back on the ground, we wanted to go again!
Crystal - What kind of jump did you do in Mexico? Had you ever gone before? I would love to jump in an exotic location!!

The pics are great!!!! I would love to do it... The only place aroung here has a at LEAST ONE accident a year.. I think last year they lost 3 jumpers.. So it is a no go for that place!!! I would LOVE it... I love that free fall freeling! (that you get on rides)

Three jumpers in one year?! ***? That seems really excessive! Especially since I have never heard of Eden North losing one!

OMG Mexico was AWESOME!! I live in Hawaii and have seen pics of people who have skydived here...but I think Mexico is better. Because you land on the beach!! So, the whole way down you see the beautiful Caribbean and then land on the beach. I totally recommend it!! Since Mexico was so great...and seeing the ugly field you land in here, in Hawaii, we haven't done it here yet. So, Mexico has been my only time. I definitely want to do it again though. Somewhere neat!

I think if there's no jumping in the mountains, I want to go hang gliding!
