I got my first period about 5 weeks after my D&C. It was a little heavier than usual, but I had no bleeding after the d&C so maybe there was some left over. I have heard you are fertile after a miscarriage so there is a chance that you could get pregnant before you get your period. Hope this helps.

It took 4 weeks for AF to arrive (1 week longer than my usual cycle). The cramping before was so terrible and I was in a lot of pain. The flow was normal with some added clotting.

Everyone is different and I have read so many stories on here. It seems no 2 girls are the same when it comes to your body adjusting after a loss.

I had two natural m/c and it took about 34-36 days to get my first period each time. They were a bit worse than normal, but got back to normal in a month or two.

After my D&C I had to have medication to get AF. After my last one I was started on Clomid right away. And both of them were more painful.
