Because I have PCOS I know I don't ovulate on my own. My doctor told me I wouldn't be able to start clomid until next cycle, but honestly I want to keep going with this one. If there is anyone who might be able to answer this/has pcos is there a possibility I could ovulate on my own this cycle? I had heard the month after you are more fertile, but I didn't know if that would apply only to those who can ovulate on their own.

I'm not sure how PCOS would affect your first cycle after your loss. You could always start charting. I'm sorry, I'm not really much help.

I'm not sure how that will work with PCOS but I do know that after a m/c you are more fertile. I pray you get your BFP soon.

If I were you I would just try.. just incase you ovulate on your own... as for being more fertile... WHO knows if that is the case or not... if it was I think thier would be a lot more BFP's on or before the first cycle on this board... I think it is if your body is ready or not... good luck!!!

I have PCOS and I did get my period at a normal time the cycle after my loss. Now, I'm not sure if I ovulated cause I didn't chart and didn't get pregnant but it was a good sign to me that my cycle came at a normal time without anyhelp from BCPs or anything else. I think there is definitely a possibility! Good luck!

I'm not sure hun. Everyone's different. I have irregular cycles, but I have ovulated after both my losses - it just took a little while. Either way, I agree - it can't hurt to try and see what happens!!!
